Energy Assistance for Homeowners and Renters
The Energy Loan Program is to assist both homeowners and renters helping them avoid late or disconnection notices for their energy bills. Applicants must be fully qualified adult members of the Lower Sioux Indian Community. Eligible applicants must show the ability to repay the loan, and secure payments with their Per Capita, Tribal Benefit Program, or Tribal Elder Benefit Program Payments.
Approved applicants will be able to apply the loan funds toward their choice of approved utility accounts. The monthly payment for these loans will be dependent upon the amount of money requested for the loan.
